Bhuvan bam: how have you Tuber became A star, how are his struggles converted into success?
Bhuvan avnindra Shankar bam vino as Bhuvan bam. He was born on 22 January 1994 in Vadodara Gujarat into a Marathi Hindu family later on his family moved to Delhi where he completed his education.
He is popularly known for his comedy channel on YouTube named BB ki vines, which he started in 2015 it was the starting point of his life which converted into success. He uploaded the videos about 2-12 minutes depicting the life of an urban teenager and his whimsical conversations with his friends and family all played by Bam himself.
The videos are filmed using a front camera on a phone by Bam himself. He originally uploaded his videos to Facebook and then moved to YouTube.
In 2016 Bhuvan released a music video “Teri meri kahani”, he also appeared in a short film”plus minus”along with Divya Dutt which earned him a Filmfare award.
In 2018 he began a new digital series on YouTube called titu talks that featured the first guest as Shahrukh Khan.
In 2019 he released the song ajnabi on his YouTube channel.
In 2020 Bhuvan uploaded an episode of titu talks titled ‘lifeline of society’ in which he interviewed the common man of society like milkman, electrician, farmers etc to understand the difficulties they are facing during covid 19 pandemic in India.
During the pandemic of covid-19 he faced an UNimaginable tragedy when he lost both his parents he shared that “it was the darkest period of my life”. struggling with grief, Bhuvan found solace in his work.
In 2021 he launched ‘dhindhora’ a web series which depicted the life of a middle class family was a massive hit the shows success was a testament to his resilience and talent.
In 2023 he introduced ‘taaza khabar’ , a thrilling series about a sanitation worker with magical powers. in the same year he was seen in Amazon mini TV'S ‘rafta rafta’ opposite srishti rindani.
In 2019 he won the Filmfare award for Best short film ‘plus minus’ and in 2022 he won the Bollywood hungama style Icons award for most stylish digital entertainer (male).
Bhuvan’s unique storytelling and engaging humor lead to a significant boost in his viewership allowing him to reach 26 million subscribers. He also ventured into music releasing several singles that have garnered millions of views.
