Mahashivratri of Baba Mahakal: Mahakal was dressed as a groom and decorated with flowers, common devotees had darshan for the first time.

 Lord Mahakal was giving darshan in the form of the groom. On the second day of Mahashivratri, on Saturday morning at 4 o'clock, Sapt Dhan's head was decorated with flowers worth 1.25 kg. In this form, he should be seen decorated like a groom. In this way, first Lord Mahakal was made to wear a mask of seven grains, golden trikund, earrings, silver umbrella and new clothes. The aarti was ended at 6 in the morning, after which about 1.25 lakhs Bilva leaves were also presented. Although every year the Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal is performed once a year at 12 noon, but this time the common devotees got the moving darshan of the afternoon Bhasma Aarti.

 Time of Bhasma Aarti.

 To perform the Bhasma Aarti, which is held once a year, the face of Lord Mahakal is lowered. This time, during the Bhasma Aarti at 12 noon, the general devotees were also given the opportunity to have darshan and at the time of this Aarti, the devotees kept walking continuously. After having darshan from Kartikeya Mandapam, everyone went towards the exit gate.

 Devotees had darshan of Lord Mahakal.

 7.35 lakh devotees came to have darshan of Mahakal in which Panch dry fruits and Panch sweets were offered to Mahakal during Sehra Aarti for offering to Shri Koteshwar Mahadev and on Mahashivratri, special decorations were made at the Mahakaleshwar temple of Ujjain.

 Sehra Aarti started from 6 am.

 Bhasma Aarti was performed from 12 noon to 2 pm.

 Bhog Aarti was performed from 2.30 to 3 pm.

 Evening puja from 5 to 5.45 pm and

 Evening Aarti time was from 6.30 to 7.15 pm

 After Shayan Aarti at 10.30 pm, there was Patal Mangal at 11 pm.
