The World Health Organization report revealed that excessive workload can put your mental health at risk because it is very dangerous, according to the report given by WHO, in the year 2019, mental stress was found in 15% of working adults all over the world and in this report, due to stress, anxiety and depression in the world, 12 billion working days are lost in a year, this is the reason why the economy loses 1 trillion dollars every year. The world's largest data platform Statista reports that in 2022, 11,486 employees committed suicide due to workload all over the world.

A 26-year-old chartered accountant (CA) working in Pune recently died due to alleged excessive workload. The mother of the deceased has directly accused the company that within a few months of joining the company, her daughter's appetite and sleep started to diminish, which resulted in her death.

In today's time, it is being seen a lot that there are many people who go to the private or corporate sector and get stressed due to competition and workload. After this, it is seen a lot that people soon start struggling with mental problems because work pressure is not a new thing for those working in the corporate sector.

Effect of workload on work.

Due to excessive workload, one feels tired and weak throughout the day and does not feel like doing any work.

There is lack of sleep and pain in the muscles.

Mental stress increases due to work pressure.

Working at one place for a long time has been seen to increase weight and weaken immunity.

Lack of concentration, decision-making ability decreases.

Anger and irritability increase.

 Due to workload, there is no time for friends and family. One starts feeling lonely and socially isolated.

Take small breaks in between work.

Take good diet and sleep to maintain agility in the body.

Wake up early in the morning, go to office on time.

Set realistic goals for yourself i.e. make small goals.
