Cabbage,

moong dal,

sweet pumpkin,

curry leaves,

cumin seeds,

asafoetida,

turmeric powder,

green coriander leaves,

red chilli powder,

ground coriander,

onion,

salt according to taste.

Method of preparation.

Soak moong dal for an hour, drain the water after cutting cabbage, now add Hubli sweet pumpkin to the dal and grind it, after this drain all the water from cabbage and mix it. After this, add curry leaves, finely chopped cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, green coriander leaves, green chillies, red chilli powder, ground coriander and salt according to your taste in this ground matter and mix it well and at the end add some baking soda to it. Now put some oil in a pan and spread this texture on the pan with a spoon. Add some more oil and chopped onion on top and fry both the sides with the help of a spoon.
