 1. Do proper research about the company from which site you are shopping, such as how old the company is, what is its sales, turnover etc.

 2. To know whether any article or review has been written about the company on any authentic media platform. Or you can also check the rating of the app on App Store or Play Store and read reviews.

 3. Whenever you are ordering for the first time, keep the value of the first order minimum. Along with this, also read the reviews of the product carefully, and definitely read its return policy.

 4. If you are ever making payment by card, do not save the card details on the website or app.

 Identify fake products, be careful.

Nowadays, incidents of fake products and fraud have increased during sales where it happens that fake goods that look exactly like the original are delivered. Anyone can be deceived after seeing these because they look exactly like the real products.

 Fraud through messages and links.

Beware of fake delivery messages or calls, and fake links

Sometimes it happens that a message related to delivery comes in which it is written that you have not paid the delivery charge and hence your packet is being sent back. A payment link is given along with the message, by clicking on such a link you get the option to pay Rs 200, so it is obvious that paying Rs 200 in exchange for the surprise packet does not seem like a big deal and you can make the payment. But by doing this you do not get anything because this is a message sent through a fraud company which has defrauded you of Rs 180 in the name of delivery charge.
