Omkar Mountain is present in Advaita Lok shape on about 11.5 hectares of land because the statue of Adiguru Shankaracharya has been installed in the middle of it. Advaita Lok and Acharya Shankar International Advaita Vedanta Institute are being established here.
This statue of Shankaracharya is 108 feet high which is a symbol of unity, it was named 'Statue of Oneness' and this statue symbolizes the glimpse of 12 year old Acharya Shankar because at this age he came from Omkareshwar to propagate Vedanta. A 112 feet Rudraksha rosary made of 10 thousand Rudrakshas was brought from Sringeri Math in Karnataka for Adiguru Shankaracharya. Adiguru Shankaracharya was born in Kaladi village of Kerala in 508-9 BC and Mahasamadhi in 477 BC. At the young age of 32, he visited four monasteries in four corners of the country - Jyotishpeeth Badarikashram, Shringeri Peeth, Dwarka Sharda Peeth and Puri Govardhan Peeth.
