 Method of worship.

 Worship by chanting the mantra Om Gan Ganpataye Namah,

 First pour water, then a few drops of Panchamrit on the clay idol of Lord Ganesha, sprinkle pure water and then do Abhishek if it is a metal idol. After this, offer Mauli and then sacred thread on the idol. Apply sandalwood, rice, abeer and gulal and offer kumkum, ashtagandha, turmeric, henna perfume and necklace and flowers.

 Offer jaggery and durva and incense sticks.

 Offer Naivedya of seasonal fruits, dry fruits, modak or other sweets.

 To worship God, release water 5 times in a vessel near the idol.

 Place cloves and cardamom on betel leaf and offer it.

 Offer Dakshina. Perform Aarti. Distribute Prasad.

 Things to keep in mind related to Ganpati Puja.

 1. Water with basil and conch should not be offered to the idol of Lord Ganesha.

 2. Puja remains incomplete without Durva and Modak.

 3.Ganpati's favorite flowers include Jaati, Mallika, Kaner, Kamal, Champa, Maulshree (Bakul), Marigold, Rose.

 4.Ganpati's favorite leaves are Shami, Durva, Dhatura, Kaner, Banana, Ber, Madar and Bilva Patra.

 5. Do not wear blue and black colored clothes in puja.

 6. Worship by keeping leather items outside and never leave God alone.

 7. After installation, do not keep the idol here and there and do not move it.

Information related to the idol of Lord Ganesha.

 1. To make the idol, the soil of Shami or Peepal root can be included with the soil of Ganga or any holy river, but whatever the soil may be, remove four fingers from the top and use the soil from inside.

 2. Apart from using clay, idols made of cow dung, betel nut, white madar root, coconut, turmeric, silver, brass, copper and crystal can be brought to the establishment for making idols.

 3. Soil contains parts of the five elements like land, water, air, fire and sky, which maintains its natural purity because Goddess Parvati also made an effigy of clay, then Lord Shiva breathed life into it, that is Ganesh. Became.

 4. According to the measurements of the scriptures, the idol should be of 12 fingers i.e. approximately 7 to 9 inches tall and Ganeshji should be installed in the house with palm-sized size. On the other hand, it is not necessary for temples and pandals to have a sitting Ganesha in the house and a standing Ganesha is an auspicious sign for offices, shops, factories.

 5. The right place to keep the idol is to keep it in the east, north or north-east corner. The idol can be installed at Brahma Sthan i.e. in the empty space in the middle of the house, but do not install the idol in the bedroom, under the stairs and near the bathroom.
