Career Education: Changes in 10th and 12th syllabus, new rules will be implemented in 2024, in which 10th and 12th board exams will be held twice.

 The Central Government has made a new education policy, under which the notification has been issued for the academic session 2024-25.

 According to this, now the 10th and 12th board exams will be conducted twice a year and in both these exams, the student with more marks will be counted. Along with this, there is also an important change that two languages will be taught to the students of 11th and 12th, it has been said that it is important to have an Indian language in these languages, but in this students will be given the freedom to choose the subject and in this way the students will choose that stream. No restriction will be imposed on this basis.

 Syllabus pattern.

 The Union Ministry of Education had released the draft National Curriculum Framework (NCF) in April 2023. Now the Ministry of Education has informed that the prices of books will come down and the syllabus of books will also be less, the Ministry of Education says that in 2024 academic session Changes have also been made in the books for the same and now the heavy syllabus will not be kept in the books, the prices of the books will remain low. This new syllabus is to be prepared keeping in mind the new education policy made in 2020. In this policy, after the completion of the school board course, a demand can be made to conduct an on-demand exam. The purpose of making such changes is to understand the student and assess the achievement instead of preparing the students for months for board exams.

 Approval July 2020.

 On July 29, 2020, the new education policy was approved by the cabinet, regarding this, the ministry had taken care of these issues along with many changes like equality, quality in the education policy.

 Government budget.

 Both the Center and the State, with their cooperation, set a target of spending 6% of GDP on the new education policy. Education policy was made 34 years before this new education policy i.e. in 1986, changes are being made in it even before the new one.
