The decision taken by the Reserve Bank of India that on coming 30th September, the new notes of 2000 will not remain in the legal tender. This decision is also important because at present, the trend of 2000 notes in India is currently around 181 crores of 2000 notes, its value is 362 thousand crores and now all these notes will not be legal tender from 30 September.Legal Tender means the currency which is legally accepted as Veda.

RBI says that those who have notes here should deposit them in their bank from May 30 to September 30 or if they want, they can get it exchanged and take other notes like 100, 500 and 50. From tomorrow itself, the process of depositing the notes in the bank will start from May 21, if you want to exchange it, you can do it from May 30, which will continue till September 30.

 Two important things.

 2. Secondly, you can deposit or exchange only 20 thousand notes at a time. That is, you can deposit or exchange only 10 notes of 2000, if you have more money, note, then you will have to exchange it after some time, it will have to be deposited as per your convenience.
