IPL 2023 SRH vs RCB Highlights: SRH's defeat, Virat Kohli's record sixth century, RCB beat SRH by 8 wickets, RCB in the race for victory.

Virat Kohli equaled a record sixth half-century at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday as Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets to take a step closer to the IPL playoff race and inch closer to the final.

Royal Challengers Bangalore had to win the last two games to keep their chances of playoffs going as it was easy for them but if the hosts did not win after Heinrich Klaasen's brilliant, counter-attacking 104 (51b, 8x4, 6x6) reduced them to 186/5.  Hoping for a rare win after taking the lead, they were shown their place by RCB from their strength.

Kohli and Faf shared a 172-run partnership for the first wicket as RCB chased down 187 to win with four balls to spare, Kohli scored 100 off just 63 balls in RCB's team, while skipper Faf du Plessis  Played an inning of 71 runs in 47 balls.  During the match, Klaasen scored 104 runs in 51 balls with eight fours and six sixes, while Michael Bracewell dismissed both Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi twice in the fourth over of the innings.  After Kohli hit a brilliant century to seal RCB's playoff spot in Thursday's match, fans of the game were seen hitting back at the Afghanistan pacer.
