IPL 2023: 10 Teams In Race To Qualify Playoffs And How Many Matches Each Team Needs To Win, Match Of Suspense Continues.

The edition of the Indian Premier League is nearing its end, and the race to qualify for the playoffs seems to be heating up, with all 10 teams in the fray as no team has yet secured a place in the playoffs.

 With 10 teams still alive in the race to qualify for the IPL 2023 playoffs with 54 matches over, it remains to be seen how many teams each team can make to seal their place in the last four of the ongoing season of the cash-rich league. The match needs to be won, but it is estimated that a team needs a minimum of 16 points to qualify for the playoffs.

 IPL 2023 Points Table Teams Performance.

 1. Gujarat Titans, the defending champions, have sealed their place in the playoffs and a big win against LSG on Sunday has kept them six points clear at the top.

 2.Chennai Super Kings, team skipper MS Dhoni & Co. have moved up to the second spot with 15 points from 12 matches. The Yellow Army beat Delhi Capitals to move just behind GT.

 3.Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma-led side are now on the third spot after their 27-run win against Gujarat Titans with 14 points from 12 matches.

 4.Rajasthan Royals Rajasthan Royals finished at the fourth spot and registered a thumping win over KKR on Thursday.

 5.Lucknow Super Giants, Lucknow are now fourth in the points table with 11 points from 11 matches, they suffered a crushing defeat against Gujarat Titans.

 6. Royal Challengers Bangalore, RCB has moved up to seventh place after a crushing defeat by Mumbai Indians.

7.Kolkata Knight Riders KKR's position remains seventh after their defeat against Rajasthan Royals.

 8.Punjab Kings, PBKS were defeated by KKR in a thrilling encounter as the Punjab team moved up to the 7th spot on the points table with 10 points from 11 matches.

 9.Sunrisers Hyderabad After a dramatic win over RR on Sunday, SRH moved up to 9th position and with 8 points from 10 matches, SRH are now looking for a turnaround.

 10. Delhi Capitals, David Warner's side can now score a maximum of 14 points as the Capitals are at the bottom after losing to CSK and are out of the playoff race.
