Gujarat Titans topped the table with 12 points from nine matches, Lucknow Super Giants came second with 11 points from 10 matches and Chennai Super Kings remained third with the same number of points when it came to net run rate. The deciding factor is that Rajasthan Royals are fourth, Royal Challengers Bangalore fifth, Mumbai Indians sixth and Punjab Kings seventh. Teams from fourth to seventh have 10 points, in which net run rate difference can be seen that KKR is eight points. Eighth with and Hyderabad is ninth with six points. Delhi Capitals have come at the bottom of the ten-team table with six points.
After the SRH vs KKR match, now the race for the Orange Cap.
RCB skipper Faf du Plessis is leading the race for the Orange Cap with 466 runs, followed by RR's Yashasvi Jaiswal with 428 runs, followed by CSK opener Devon Conway with 414 runs and RCB's Virat Kohli with 364 runs. Conway's opening partner Ruturaj Gaikwad is at the fourth position with 354 runs. See CSK's Tushar Deshpande 17 second, PBKS's Arshdeep Singh third, MI spinner Piyush Chawla (15) and RCB's Mohammed Siraj 15 remain fourth and fifth respectively.
