Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) moved up to 7th spot in the IPL points table after their crucial 21-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore in the 36th match of IPL 2023 - net run rate of 0.027 and Earlier, the team led by Nitish Rana finished eighth.

A total of 74 matches are to be played between the 10 participating teams during the IPL 2023 season, which are divided into two groups. Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans are the defending champions of the league while Rajasthan Royals were the runners-up last season. The winning team gets two points, while the teams are being awarded one point in case of cancellation of the match.

On the other side are Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings who are on the upswing after slow starts and this cannot be considered an ideal start for Delhi Capitals.
