Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium: Ajinkya Rahane made a stellar debut for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday evening.

Veteran batsman Ajinkya Rahane opened the batting for Chennai Super Kings in a spectacular Indian Premier League 2023 encounter against Mumbai Indians at the same Wankhede Stadium on Saturday evening and smashed 61 off 27 balls, the fastest half-century of the season in 19 balls. His remarkable innings helped CSK post a target of 158 with 11 runs to spare.

Ajinkya Rahane hit the fastest half-century of the season to play a brilliant knock and made 61 off 27 balls batting first as MI scored 157 for 8 in 20 overs, including Ishan Kishan's 21-ball 32 and 'impact player' Tim David's 31 off 22 balls played a key role.

  Fast bowler Tushar Deshpande and spinner Mitchell Santner took two wickets each and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets for 20 runs, Rahane hitting seven fours and three fours as CSK won the match in 18.1 overs.
