How can a person live even after death? Can a person never die after spending one and a half crores, know what is cryonics?
Dead body is in the fridge since 55 years.
In 1965, the 'Life Extension Society' offered that they could preserve the body of any person after his death. This organization used to do research on life after death in America. It had said that the dead body would be stored in ice, for which an American professor named James Bedford agreed. Bedford was suffering from kidney cancer and his treatment was not possible at that time, so he had expressed his desire to donate all his property to the Society and establish his body. After this, after his death in 1967, he was kept frozen through cryopreservation, which is still present today after 51 years.
This is the full cost of keeping the dead body in cryonics and fridge.
To make a dead person alive, the dead body is kept frozen, for this the whole process stepwise is done in this way.
Step-1 Cryonics experts come into action as soon as a person dies.
Step-2 The doctor makes sure that the supply of oxygen and blood continues till the brain of the dead body. For this the help of modern technology is taken.
Step-3 Water is removed from the cells of the body and replaced by a chemical made of glycerol.
Step 4 The dead body is packed in ice and placed in a drug that will prevent the blood from clotting.
Step 5: The body is cooled and frozen at 130°C.
Step-6: The body is suspended upside down in a container filled with nitrogen, so that even if the container leaks, the brain remains frozen.
Cost of keeping the death body refrigerated
According to a company named Alcott Cryonics, the body can be revived after death through cryonics technology. Alcott has told the cost of keeping the entire dead body safe at $ 200,000 i.e. about Rs 1.60 crore. The company says that after the death of a person, the cost of keeping it safe every year is $ 705, which is about Rs 52,874.
Note 1: Since January 2016, scientists from the European Space Agency and NASA are working together on this technology, so that humans can be sent into deep space.
Note 2: Richard Gibson, Professor Institute of Bioethics and Health Humanities, America, Scientists of the world are divided into two camps on the matter of making humans alive with this technique. Some people look at it with suspicion and some believe that it is possible in the next 50 to 100 years.
