Alimony: Cricketer Mohammed Shami will have to pay 1 lakh 30 thousand while living separately from his wife Hasin Jaha in 2018.
Haseen Jahan and Mohammed Shami, who have been living separately since 2018, the Calcutta High Court has given its verdict and said that Mohammed Shami's earning is around 7 crores, out of which ₹ 125000 is given to his wife as alimony. In which rs.80000 will have to be paid for the education expenses of his daughter and ₹50000 as alimony for Haseena.
This was the case.
Cricketer Mohammed Shami Hasin Jahan met in 2011 when he was playing in the IPL for Kolkata Riders, the couple got married in 2014. And Hasin, who was modern by profession, had left modeling after marriage, after that in 2018, Hasin Jahan made very serious allegations against Mohammed Shami and filed a case against him in Kolkata High Court by accusing him of domestic violence along with allegations of match-fixing. Filed and since then both of them are living separately and after that Haseena resumed her modeling in 2018.
Case was filed in 2018.
When Hasin had filed the case in 2018, she demanded that he should give Rs 1000000 per month to Shami, in which Rs 3 lakh should be given as daughter's expenses and Rs 7 as her maintenance allowance.
Demand for more alimony.
Hasin's lawyer said that it would be in the interest of justice to pay alimony of 10 lakhs where Shami is earning Rs. If she has been able to maintain herself, then it is unfair to give so much alimony.
BCCI did the investigation.
When his wife Hasin Jahan accused him of match-fixing and filed a case, the BCCI itself investigated the matter and after finding it innocent, his contract was reviewed. Shami is currently playing the series against New Zealand.
