Sex Racket: Girls get spotted as soon as you send a doubt on WhatsApp, the business of sex racket is happening like pizza delivery, know what is the whole matter.

 If you want to talk about sex racket, then there is online business in which investigations were done in countries like Jaipur, Patna, Noida, which revealed that it is being corporatized like online pizza delivery.  These girls have been exposed by survey, in which the personal chatting of WhatsApp has also come to the fore.  In the last 3 years, 14,190 girls have been traded online for sex with girls.

 DCP Kavita of Cyberabad said that in this sex racket online girls are selected who need money.  To run such sex racket, they bring girls from other states to their state.  Then after that they are given big hotels, luxury life.  Gradually the girls are taken into the sex racket.  Girls work to run sex racket by getting addicted to drugs and alcohol.

 Girls are brought from other states and their photo shoots are done and given like an advertisement on different websites and WhatsApp.  Then the customer sees their photo on WhatsApp, likes it.  After that those people contact and the organizer sends these girls to the deal place, everything is organized by the organizer, the personal number of the girls is not given to the customer, the payment is also taken by the organizer.

Indian law on prostitution.

 The Supreme Court counsel says that prostitution is not directly criminalized as both adults are capable of having a consensual relationship. On the other hand, in the 2022 judgment of the Supreme Court, it was said that prostitution is like a profession and it cannot be directly considered a crime.

 Prostitution may not be directly considered a crime within India, but it still comes under the category of immoral and crime because the Prohibition of Prostitution Act 1956 exists, section 3 of which states that any place in India is prohibited for prostitution. It is illegal to do or make it and there is a provision of punishment from 1 year to 3 years for running it.

 Section 4 and 5 of the same act says that those who are maintaining prostitution as a business and eating the earnings of such business. There is a provision of 2 years imprisonment for them. Along with this, those who take girls in this kind of business, they are given a sentence of three to seven years.

 Section 6 says that forcibly keeping a girl in a brothel and prostitution can be punished from 7 years to life imprisonment.

 Section 7 and 8 of the same act says that if someone is found doing prostitution in a public place, then he is punished for 3 months and also if someone does obscenity in a public place, then there is a provision of punishment for 6 months.

 Note: Apart from this act, in section 372, 373 of IPC, if anyone sells or buys any girls and women for prostitution, or is illegal, they have a provision of 10 years of punishment.

 Note: Every year 1 crore 80 lakh women are pushed into this business of prostitution in India. In India, 90% of cases are from other states while 10% are from international.
